This booth explores the science behind the creation of cotton candy. From the physical phase changes to the volume increase, cotton candy is a very neat treat! All participants will create their very own cotton candy!

Science is so COOL!
The Dry Ice Science Booth is super-cool (literally)! At this booth, we will get the opportunity to explore frozen carbon dioxide! This unique substance exhibits sublimation (the physical phase change from solid directly to a gas)! Make a bubble full of foggy gas! Witness a cool cork pop! All participants will get their very own bubble solution!

Wave Machine!
Watch out for the wave! We explore the very interesting concept of density at this Big Thinkers Science Booth! What happens when two liquids of different densities mix? How can you make an egg float? What is "flinking"? All participants make a wave machine (bottle with two liquids). Learn all this and more at the Wave Machine Science Booth!
